Satellite Imagery Shows Smoke From Wildfires Moving Into Nevada's Great Basin Region

Satellite imagery shared by the US National Weather Service in Elko, Nevada, on August 5 showed smoke from wildfires in California and Nevada blowing into the state’s Great Basin region.The footage was released as a number of wildfires, including California’s Carr Fire, which claimed its seventh victim on Sunday, according to local reports, continued to burn across the two states.
