Baby Turtles Race To Beach

This was the beautiful moment hundreds of freshly hatched sea turtles race to reach the ocean. The olive ridley sea turtles were born on the beach in the Mati district of Davao Oriental, Philippines on July 4. Environmentalist Winston Piaza said he had followed the progress of the eggs from when the mother laid them to the moment the babies fled the nest. He said: ''It was a beautiful moment to see them race to the ocean to being their long lives in the sea.''
