Donald Trump's Hollywood Walk of Fame Star Smashed to Bits The president's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame was destroyed by a pickaxe early Wednesday morning. The man who performed the act has since turned himself in to the Beverly Hills Police Department. Trump's star has repeatedly been the target of vandalism and protests since he turned to politics. People have made obscene gestures next to the star, defaced it with paint and even allowed dogs to relieve themselves on the landmark.
