UK excludes India from student list; rules relaxed for 25 countries except India

After United States reaffirmed its decision to tighten h1-b norms, UK has decided to relax its tier 4 category for issuing visas to overseas students. This however has not gone down well with the Indian community as it has been excluded from the list of 'low risk' nations. What this means is that rigorous checks and documentation would continue for Indian students seeking to study in British universities. Several prominent Indian businessmen in the UK have said that the post-brexit free trade agreement with India could be highly unlikely if uk continues to with such contradictory actions.
