Lights technical director Jose Luis Sanchez Sola gets suspended by USL

Lights FC technical director Jose Luis Sanchez Sola was suspended by the USL. The team said he touched a fan after its 4-0 loss to Phoenix on Wednesday. He will have to sit out eight games and will not be able to appeal the penalty. The earliest he can return to the Lights' sideline is August 4. It was not a violent action and he asked the fan who had been heckling him to say it to him directly. Clearly that’s not acceptable. It’s not condoned. We accept the penalty.
