Britain's tallest yew hedge given a trim

Britain's tallest yew hedge is given a trim after reaching 60ft high - with the cuttings used to produce a life-saving cancer drug. Lord Allen Apsley spends over £6,000 every year trimming the 300-year-old hedge on his Bathurst Estate in the Cotswolds. Two workers spent a week on a 70ft high cherry-picker cutting back six inches of new growth, which produced nearly a tonne of clippings.
