After seeing in the New Year at London’s Jazz Cafe alongside Barney Artist, Yakul’s 2018 has gone from strength to strength, releasing their new single Realigned to huge critical acclaim and playing alongisde artists such as Aaron Taylor and Boadi in the past few weeks alone.
Influenced by the likes of J-Dilla, D’Angelo and the Soulquarians, they put a unique spin on the music they’ve grown up with. Marrying together thoughtful, soulful lyrics with deep grooves and jazz infused progressions, Yakul seamlessly blend genres to create something fresh and original.
