Doughnut Shop Organises Charity Drive for Thief Who Stole From Tip Jar

Employees at a doughnut shop in Reno, Nevada, have decided to turn a sour moment into potentially something positive after they spotted a woman stealing from their tip jar on CCTV.Holey Schmidt Donuts shared footage of the woman taking money from the jar on April 29, writing, "While we are saddened by this, we also realize that if someone is in a place in their life, where they are desperate enough to steal from hard working employees, they are probably pretty down and out. "The store has organized a food drive for the woman and spread the word that the food could be collected on May 7. The food will be donated to a local food bank if the woman isn’t found.
