L.J. Johnson - Your Magic Put A Spell On Me.

L.J. Johnson is an incredible High Tenor Disco singer from Chicago. He founded his first group at thirteen years old with his brother Robert and his sister Sherry. In 1975 he joined The Mood Mixers, a group with lead vocals by Evelyn Thomas. Following this, musician Danny Leake introduced L.J. Johnson to producer Ian Levine. Levine suggested the singer to AVI Records, where he recorded one very strong disco album with a huge suite separated in three movements. "Your Magic Put A Spell On Me" and "Dancing On The Edge Of A Dream" were hugely successful club disco hits with the former reaching Number 26 in the pop charts in 1976 at the same time as Evelyn Thomas "Weak Spot".
