Commonly known as the "Unfinished Symphony", Schubert's eighth symphony is sometimes called the first Romantic symphony due to its emphasis on expressive melody
The piece was featured prominently in Steven Spielberg's 2002 science fiction film "Minority Report", as well as in children's programmes "The Smurfs" and "Little Einsteins"
