A Midsummer Night's Dream, Op. 61: Wedding March was composed by Felix Mendelssohn, a German conductor of the early Romantic period. This composition is one of the most frequently used wedding marches.

The 'Wedding March' features on the soundtrack to many films including the 1946 film, 'It's a Wonderful Life,' the 1994 film 'Four Weddings and a Funeral and the 1999 film, 'Runaway Bride.'
