According to a report by Reuters, the EU's temporary exemption from taxes on aluminum and steel expires on Tuesday, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel is looking to guarantee that the 28-nation group remains excluded. On Sunday, Merkel released a statement claiming that leaders of France and Britain will also push back if the Trump administration doesn't permanently exempt the EU from new import taxes.
