Chilly start to the day, spring warmth in the afternoon but dusty _ 041718

Good morning. Expect to have similar temperatures to yesterday with a chilly morning followed by a warm afternoon. Over the East Sea,... Tokyo will see some light rain in the afternoon.

It's quite cold this morning, lows are still hovering below seasonal averages but daily highs will rise rapidly to reach 20 degrees Celsius in Seoul but at least we are breathing relatively clean air at the moment.

But that won't last long as fine dust levels will rise rapidly as the day goes along, those of us in the capital area and Chungcheong-do regions will likely to see dusty conditions for most of the day.

Moving on to today's readings, Seoul and Gyeongju are waking up to a low of 6 degrees, Chuncheon is even cooler at 3 degrees, but we have bright skies on the horizon.

But again, those of us in Seoul and its surrounding regions will need to check the dust levels before heading out. Highs in most parts will be a couple notches higher than yesterday getting up to 20 degrees Celsius,... while Gyeongju rises to 19 degrees.
