Bloomberg Cracks Down on Protesters

http://www.FT.com/ Authorities around the world have begun moving against anti-capitalist protesters, with police in the US and Switzerland clearing camps from their cities. Occupy wallstreet and the Wall Street protests are just a small part of the Occupy movement that has spread to many of the world's major cities. Many of those protesting are using Twitter as a main medium of communication using the hashtags #occupywallstreet and similar, depending on the city, worldwide. The FT's John Gapper intervies some of those on the ground and discusses efforts by Michael Bloomberg, the New York mayor, to clear Occupy Wall Street protesters from Zuccotti Park.
