France to introduce 90-euro fines for catcalling

Amid a global movement against sexual harassment, France will be slapping on-the-spot fines to those caught catcalling.
France's Interior Minister announced on Monday that the measure to impose 90 euro fines will be enforced in the coming months.
French lawmakers have been calling for legislation against acts that humiliate women in public.
The country is also slated to announce a sweeping new law targeting sexual harassment in the coming weeks.
