100 Year Old Jharkhand Man Addicted To Eating Soil | OneIndia News

Sahibganj (Jharkhand), Jan 19 (ANI): In an act of utmost bewilderment, an old man has been surviving by gulping ‘soil’ since decades in Babupur, a remote village of Jharkhand’s Sahibganj. This man survived on soil. Karu Paswan is a 100 year old man who survived on Soil. He started consuming soil when he was 11 years old. Initially he was eating it because he was living in very poor conditions but now it has become his habit. He even confesses that he cannot speak till he doesn't have the soil. He also says that a lot of people tried making him lose the habit, but now he says he is addicted and cannot stop himself from eating soil. He says that unless and until he doesn't have soil he is unable to fall asleep. He also said that consuming soil helped him open up and talk to his father and his mother and also people of society.
