Why did Adnan Oktar become a freemason?

ADNAN OKTAR: A non-mason cannot get in contact with the masons. In fact, I have extended the scale of masonry. I was granted the certificate of masonry from seven different countries. Seven different lodges from seven different countries. This was so that we could get in contact with them. I am also a member of the Knight Templar. I have certificates of mastery from three different Knight Templar lodges. All of the certificates I have mentioned are 33rd degree. There are also Leo Clubs and the Rotarians. They, too, are kind, polite people. It is impossible for an outsider to preach the religion among them. You can preach only when you become a Rotarian. But of course masonry is a higher level organization. Rotarians constitute the basis of masonry. Masons are chosen among them. But masons usually hold key positions. My aim is to be able to reach them and tell them about the Qur'an.
