Using Art To Bring Attention To 'Death Metals'

In 1994 this gold mining facility was shut down because of the toxic heavy metals that the facility was producing. The California Desert Protection Act that was signed in 1994 might have halted the gold mining, but the site still exists and is still unsafe. To bring attention to the issue, artists from Indecline entered the site and worked for six days to create stunning yet haunting artwork.
