WhatsApp no longer to share data with Facebook

France's privacy watchdog CNIL ordered WhatsApp to stop sharing user data with Facebook. The communication app has one month to fulfill the request. The app revealed last year it would share user information to Facebook to develop advertisements, security measures and gather business intelligence. CNIL argued that while the app's security measure was legit its business intelligence reason wasn't as valid.
