Dad makes cool solar-powered boat from waste water pipes

A cool video from Australia of a science-mad father showing how he made a cheap solar-powered electric boat for his children.
The unusual craft is made from plastic stormwater pipes, bits of aluminium and wood, plastic chair seats, an electric outboard and solar panels and a battery.
The solar panels provide 50 percent of the power, and the battery supplies the remaining electricity.
Kids Mikalah, 11, and Samuel, 8, tried out the boat on Sunday at the lagoon in Terrigal, New South Wales, and appeared to have a lot of fun.
