Santa won't be delivering any Apple HomePods this year

There's one Apple product that won't be under anyone's Christmas tree this year. Apple's HomePod smart speaker has been delayed and won't ship this December. We can’t wait for people to experience HomePod … but we need a little more time before it’s ready for our customers. We’ll start shipping in the U.S., U.K., and Australia in early 2018 The HomePod can do things like give music suggestions or turn up the heat in your home. It will compete with our smart speakers like the Amazon Echo and Google Home.
