GoM recommends GST cut down on AC restaurants to 12% | वनइंडिया हिंदी

The Group of Ministers (GoM) set up to make GST composition scheme more attractive today suggested lowering tax rates for manufacturers and restaurants under the plan to 1 per cent. The GoM headed by Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has also suggested doing away with the tax rate distinction between AC and non-AC restaurants. वस्तु एवं सेवा कर (GST) के कंपोजिशन स्कीम को आकर्षक बनाने के लिए मंत्रियों के समूह (GOM) ने निर्माताओं और रेस्तरां के लिए टैक्स की दरों में कमी का सुझाव दिया है। मंत्रियों के समूह की ओर से दी गई सलाह में कहा गया है कि कंपोजिशन स्कीम के तहत ना आने वाले एसी और गैर एसी रेस्तरां के बीच टैक्स के फर्क को खत्म कर 12 फीसदी GST रखा जाए। बता दें कि फिलहाल गैर एसी रेस्तरां पर 12 फीसदी और एसी रेस्तरां पर 18 फीसदी कर लगता है।
