Study finds discrimination hurts children of same-sex couples

Prof. Frank Oberklaid, author of the study Australia's anti-marriage equality campaign argues that children need a male and female parent to succeed. A study published in the Medical Journal of Australia argues that children of same- sex couples were just as emotionally, socially, and educationally well as their peers. Researchers said Oberklaid also noted that we need to change the way we spread misinformation: Our duty extends to making sure that accurate, objective interpretations of the best available evidence are available and inaccuracies are corrected in an effort to reduce the destructiveness of public debate.
