Creating a wound with surgical staples using silicone. I wanted to make a 2 part tutorial by creating an ual hand injury and then using the same wound shape to make a repaired version once the doctor has stapled the wound back together. You can create this on any part of the body. I use both silicone and wax. \r

My intention with these 2 tutorials is not to teach anatomical correctness but instead focus on improving technique and application.\r

What youll need to create this look is:\r
Nose and scar wax\r
Skin safe silicone\r
Modelling wax\r
Spirit gum\r
Petroleum jelly \r
Sculpting tools\r
Metal spatula\r
Mix of brushes and sponges\r
Skin illustrator palettes or cream makeups\r
Blood (preferably an aged or dark colour)\r
Sponges\r
Paper clips\r
Pliers\r
Cotton tips\r
