Founded by Chris Ratterman, Shady Rays makes the business of giving back its mission. The small, American owned sunglass company started 5 years ago in Louisville, Kentucky. Although it's still young, it's making great strides.
With the motto Live Hard. We Got You.™, Shady Rays focuses on making the best and most stylish sunglasses for anytime/anywhere wear and thanks to their high-quality shatterproof lenses and durable construction, they offer a Lifetime Craftsmanship Warranty and Free Replacements for any lost or broken glasses. But that's not the most impressive part about this company!
Every order purchased through Shady Rays secures 11 meals for hungry Americans through the nonprofit program, Feeding America. The ultimate goal - to provide 1 million meals to hungry Americans every year.
Shady Rays is a next generation company, full of action seekers who provide innovative sports gear meant for everything life throws at you. They're building a dynamic team full of Brand Ambassadors and Sponsored Athletes who have a passion for change. Among them is Buffalo Bills running back LeSean "Shady" McCoy who has his own special edition Shady Rays sunglasses line. 25% of all his sales go to his foundation Shades of Greatness, which supports both inner city youth and ALS research.
