Dwindling fishermen trade leaves Mexican canals vulnerable

The pre-Hispanic Xochimilco canals and their fauna are at risk of disappearing as the number of working fishermen declines - as does their control over two invasive species of fish, the Tilapia and Carp, which, if not controlled, pose a threat to the endemic fauna.
