آج جب میں مختلف دانشوروں کو ٹی وی چینلز پہ بیٹھے ہوۓ اقبال کے خلاف ہرزہ سرائی کرتے ہوۓ دیکھتا ہوں تو مجھے یوں لگتا ہے کہ یہ وہ فرزند ہیں جن کو ابلیس نے یہ کہا ہے :
اقبال کے نَفَس سے ہے لالے کی آگ تیز
ایسے غزل سرا کو چمن سے نِکال دو
یہ کون لوگ ہیں جو اقبال کو نیچا دکھا کے اِس قوم سے اِس قوم کا اقبال چھیننا چاہتے ہیں ، آپ کو اقبال کا مطلب پتا ہے ؟ اقبال بخت کو کہتے ہیں،اقبال مقدر کی بلندی کو کہتے ہیں ، اقبال مقدر کے ستارے کو کہتے ہیں ، اِس لیے ہمارا اقبال ہمارا اقبال ہے اور ہم اپنے اِقبال کو گنوا نہیں سکتے ہم اپنے اقبال کو کھو نہیں سکتےاور ہم کسی کو بھی اپنے ہاتھوں سے اپنا اقبال چھیننے کی کوشش میں کامیاب نہیں ہونے دیں گے اقبال سے ہمارا روحانی تعلق ہے۔
Today when I see various intellectuals sitting on T.V and talking nonsense about Iqbal, I feel that they are those sons to whom Iblees has said ,
Iqbal’s breath fans the poppy into flame—
Such minstrels from the flower‐garden expel!
Who are these people? They disgrace Iqbal in a pursuit to snatch the apex of fortune from this nation.
Do you know what does ‘Iqbal’ mean? Iqbal stands for ‘luck’. Iqbal is good fate. Iqbal means the star of destiny. That is why our Iqbal is our Iqbal . We cannot lose our Iqbal and we will not allow anyone to succeed in struggle of snatching our Iqbal from us. We have spiritual connection with Iqbal.
