Scientists believe male sperm count is on the decline

The human race could be facing extinction, according to scientists. Author of a recently published study on declining sperm count in the western world, Hagai Levine, spoke to the BBC. Eventually we may have a problem, and with reproduction in general, and it may be the extinction of the human species. According to the study, there was a 50-60 percent decline in in sperm count among men in North America, Europe and Australia between 1973–2011. The team states that "environmental and lifestyle influences" can have an effect on sperm count, but they didn't note specifics.
