Mom and daughter suckerpunched by couple of tough customers

BAXLEY, GEORGIA — A mother and daughter are walking around with black eyes after a couple of unhappy customers attacked them at their Baxley food establishment last Thursday.

Regular customers of the family’s Qwik Chik chicken stand, Eric and Latasha Smith were reportedly unsatisfied with their order of chicken and fries, complaining the meal was cold. Following a heated discussion, the owner, Jeanette Norris, refunded the couple’s money, but she says they still weren’t satisfied and began harassing her.

When Norris called the cops, Latasha Smith started beating her mercilessly. Eric Smith then viciously struck Norris’ 15-year-old daughter in the face for coming to her mother’s aid. The two then fled the scene, and police have yet to track them down.

The couple faces several felony warrants upon their arrest. Jeanette Norris needs surgery for her broken nose, and her daughter is probably traumatised, but the two are expected to be okay.
