In the Mix with CyHi the Prynce and “No Dope on Sundays” | Video Interview

(via stupidDOPE.com) Six years after being featured as an XXL Freshman, the Atlanta-rooted artist known as CyHi The Prynce is making final preparations to release his debut album. It’s been a long time coming, but CyHi’s cleverly named project, “No Dope on Sundays” is poised to bring back the art of storytelling in a most groovy way.

Known for his realistic portrayals of the hood, CyHi’s witty( and oftentimes quite funny) anecdotes have permeated the playlists of hip-hop heads for years. Now, with “No Dope on Sundays”, we can expect to hear tunes executively produced by Kanye West. And since CyHi is signed with G.O.O.D Music, it’s been recently spilled that his debut album will be further illuminated with appearances from Travis Scott, Pusha T, Schoolboy Q and Yeezy.

In the video interview above, 3 time Grammy-nominated CyHi gives us a couple minutes of his time to discuss a few things. From humble beginnings & inspirations leading to the release of his debut album, it’s real dope to know that money hasn’t changed one of our favorite ATLiens. So cop “No Dope on Sundays”, the very moment it drops!
