This mother fears for her daughter following Trump’s proposed Medicaid cuts [Mic Archives]

Kelly Trout is scared for her daughter’s future. Her daughter Caroline has WAGR syndrome, an extremely rare genetic disorder that can cause kidney failure and cancer, among other complications. If the Trump administration’s budget and GOP’s new health care bill is passed, it could cause Caroline to lose her coverage under Medicaid. Trout says, “Medicaid really is life and death for her … I ask them not to do this, please.”
