Centre hit out at J&K government for pro-Pakistan rally in Valley

The Centre has asked the Jammu and Kashmir Government to take strictest possible steps against those involved in anti-national actions during a rally led by hardline separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani yesterday on the outskirts of Srinagar. The Chief Minister briefed union minister Rajnath Singh about what happened at the rally and the situation there, official sources said. Singh told Sayeed that "any step which can be termed as anti-national cannot be tolerated”. Reacting to the development, Congress slammed the PDP-BJP alliance and said that they have released a man who holds strong anti-India views.
