Hypocrites brag about not conforming to the Muslim community they are in, which is a characteristic of Samiri

ADNAN OKTAR: When communicating with the irreligious or other hypocrites, hypocrites point out that they are not loyal to the community they are in; for example, Samiri says, "I am quite dissimilar from Moses, I am wiser than him. He is prone to forgetfulness and unable to manage his tribe.” He says, “I am an artisan, my general knowledge of the Egyptian culture is extraordinary whereas he does not possess any such quality. I am a sculptor. I am well-versed in the entire Egyptian art along with many others. I have a vast general knowledge, but Moses does not. I am a distinct person. I never follow the directives or instructions of the Prophet Moses (pbuh)," he says. All hypocrites masquerade as such in the Muslim community that they are a part of, they brag about not conforming to that community; this is one of the precursory signs of hypocrisy. This is the characteristic of Samiri. When asked, they say, "I do not abide by anything they tell me, I do not believe in anything they say." As you know, God says in the verse; "When they meet those who have faith, they say, ‘We have faith.’ But then when they go away with their satans, they say," (Surat al-Baqara, 14) "We are really with you. We were only mocking."  This is one of the characteristics of hypocrites; they pay special attention to it.
