Severe Storm Swamps Houston Streets

Heavy thunderstorms swept through the Houston, Texas, area on Wednesday, March 29, leading to flooding in the surrounding neighborhoods.This video was taken from the Edgebrook neighborhood, southeast of Houston. A flash flood warning was issued for much of the area on Wednesday night, and Houston residents were warned to avoid low-lying areas.Early Wednesday, a tornado was confirmed in Bellaire, roughly 18 miles to the west of Edgebrook. The tornado was given an EF-1 rating, with witnesses reporting swirling debris and a funnel cloud that touched down near the Azalea Place apartment complex.
