Sajid Khan: 'Humshakals has got nothing to do with Comedy Of Errors'

Sajid Khan is gearing up for the release of his upcoming laughter riot Humshakals and the filmmaker recently made it clear that his film is an original idea and not a remake. At a recent event, when Khan was asked if his film is based on William Shakespeare's famous play Comedy Of Errors, he said, ''No it's not true at all. My film is absolutely different from Comedy of Errors. Comedy Of Errors has spawned many plays and then it spawned couple of Hollywood films as well and then there was Do Dooni Chaar and Do Dooni Chaar's (1968) remake was Angoor but this film has got nothing to do with Comedy Of Errors.'' ''In Comedy of Errors or in general, in film's with double roles, we have twin brothers, who get separated and then discover each other but in this film there is nothing lost and nothing found. I have heard that everybody has eight lookalikes in the world and keeping that concept in mind I made Humshakals,'' he further added. Humshakals stars Saif Ali Khan, Ram Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh in triple roles and is slated to release on June 20.
