WELLSTON, OKLAHOMA — A man who went on a crime spree in Oklahoma is now being hunted by police after killing two people and shooting two others.

The Oklahoman reports that two officers responding to a disturbance call in Wellston on Sunday were shot by Michael Vance, first with a handgun, and then with an AK-47.

One of the officers managed to shoot Vance in the shoulder, just before he escaped in a stolen police pickup truck.

While on the run, Vance live-streamed a video of himself to Facebook. The footage shows him behind the wheel with blood on his shirt, showing off his firearm. He tells people to “stay tuned to the local news” if they want to find out what happens next, declaring that “this is where it gets interesting.”

Police say he drove to a nearby mobile home park and hijacked a second car, shooting at a trailer on his way out and injuring a woman inside. From there, he made his way to his relatives’ house in Luther, where is believed to have he shot his uncle and stabbed his aunt to death.

Both victims were found with large cuts to the neck, consistent with an attempted beheading. The aunt also had a deep cut around her shoulder, suggesting Vance had tried to cut off her arm.

Authorities believe he then stole the couple’s gray Mitsubishi Eclipse and fled in it.

Vance was last seen at a gas station in Sayre, where he shot at a man and attempted to steal his motor home, but failed.

The 38-year-old suspect is still at large as of Monday night, with wanted posters describing him as armed and dangerous. Police also believe he has HIV and is willing to spread it.
