Venezuela's opposition is left reeling after authorities halted their drive to recall leftist President Nicolas Maduro, creating what they called a "very dangerous scenario" amid a punishing economic crisis. Lilian Tintori, the wife of jailed opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez, called for a "peaceful, legitimate protest, to seek civil disobedience".
