In this short clip, David brings us 20 minutes outside the city center of Bursa to the traditional Ottoman Village of Cumalikizik. Dating back over 700 years to the foundation of the Ottoman Empire, this ancient town holds strong to its roots with 270 original timber houses still remaining from the Ottoman period. As you walk through the picturesque cobblestone streets lined with open-air vendors (visit the Sunday Market!), you'll be hard pressed to not fall in love with the area. For one of the best experiences in Cumalikizik, enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast as shown by David here... truly unforgettable!!
