Popocatepetl Surrounded by Cloud Halo During Volcanic Exhalation

The peak of Mexico’s Popocatepetl volcano was shrouded by a halo of clouds on Tuesday, August 16, during a series of exhalations of gas, ash and vapor, as seen in this video. The National Center for Disaster Prevention reportedly advised people to stay away from the mountian on that date, during a period of sustained earthquakes and eruptions.
