The billfold was taken from a parked car, and upon realizing there were about $65 inside, the robber did a little shimmy.
Authorities know this because the man’s moves were captured by a surveillance camera.
That same footage was used to learn the identity of the individual.
Sergeant Alan Lawless with the West Midlands Police, said, “He may have felt like dancing at the time but he looked pretty miserable when we knocked at his door to arrest him.”
On July 7, the thief was sentenced to spend 22 weeks in jail.
