US to give further support to Iraqi Kurdish forces fighting ISIL

The US has signed a deal with the Kurdistan Regional Government in northern Iraq to give more help to forces there combatting ISIL.

The agreement bypasses Iraqi national government leaders in the capital Baghdad.
