Bad things can happen to anyone, even rock stars. Live Through This takes a look at some of your favorite musicians and their heroic tales of recovery.
In the premiere episode, Motley Crue bassist and songwriter Nikki Sixx was declared dead after a night of partying with fellow rocker Slash, a victim of an accidental heroin overdose. Medics were able to to revive him with a shot of adrenaline to the heart. After he reached sobriety, the members of Motley Crue went on to record their most successful album ever.
