THE GLADIATORS ft DROOP LION live @ Main Stage 2014

The Gladiators are one of the most exciting groups from the golden age of roots with extraordinary albums to their name from Studio One on the English label Virgin produced by Prince Tony Robinson. Albert Griffiths is no longer the lead of the group, formed in 1968 with Errol Grandison and David Webber, but the band continues to tour the world performing their classic material. In The Gladiators current lineup are the renowned Gallimore Sutherland and the children of Albert Griffiths, Anthony and AIan, on vocals and drums respectively. This year they recorded a new CD with the Jamaican artist Droop Lion, titled "Back on the Tracks" and it is with this young singer from the parish of St. Mary that the Gladiators will perform at Sunsplash 2014.
