A heartwarming video has emerged of a man surprising his best friend for his 30th birthday.

The footage, shot in Manila, Philippines, on Saturday, shows the moment Dave O' Callaghan hears his best friend Noel Whelan singing "Happy Birthday" behind him in a pub before they hug and laugh uncontrollably with each other.

Dave, who moved to the Philippines four years ago, had not seen his best friend for about a year and a half.
