Goldman Sachs financial adviser Luke Thorburn, who was named in a February 23rd New York Times article as the company’s only donor to Donald Trump’s campaign, has since been placed on leave because he did not get approval for his side business of selling Trump-like hats.

A Goldman Sachs employee who had been publicly named as the company’s only donor to Donald Trump’s presidential bid has reportedly been placed on leave.
A February 23rd New York Times article about the candidate states, “Records show just one Goldman employee, a financial adviser in the wealth management division, has donated to Mr. Trump — $534.58, to be precise.”
