A polar bear abandoned by her mother at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium is healthy and gaining weight thanks to the attention of her human friends.
A polar bear cub at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium has already gone viral, and continues to grow in a more literal way.
Only half a pound at birth, the cub now weighs nearly seven pounds.
She's being fed a special polar bear formula made with kitten milk replacer, herring oil, taurine, Lacteeze and sterile water.
The baby bear, born on Friday, November 6th, was taken up by veterinary staff after her mother, Aurora, stopped caring for her.
