Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu instructed the Foreign Ministry on Sunday evening to reevaluate the European Union's involvement in peace efforts with the Palestinians.
Netanyahu's instruction was issued was made in response to a decision made by the EU to label as "settlement products" any goods produced by Israelis in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Golan Heights.
Officials at the Foreign Ministry clarified that while Israel continues its diplomatic cooperation with European countries such as Germany, Britain and France, it will not continue working with the European Union itself.
