Ne një kohe kur pala serbe vijon te propozoje opsione për ndarjen e shtetit te Kosovës, kryeministri Hashim Thaçi ka deklaruar se integriteti territorial nuk do te cenohet. Duke folur gjate mbledhjes se qeverise, Thaçi tha se ne Bruksel nuk do te ketë bisedime për statusin politik dhe organizimin e brendshëm të shtetit të Kosovës.
Sa i takon strukturave paralele ne veri, numri nje i qeverise kërkoi edhe një here heqjen e tyre dhe kërkoi integrimin e qytetareve serbe ne veri. Qëndrimi i Thaçit është përforcuar edhe nga deklarata e zv/ndihmës sekretarit amerikan Fillip Riker i cili tha se SHBA-te dhe BE-ja mbështet Prishtinën zyrtare për eliminimin e strukturave paralele. Ndërkohë ne serbi, kryeministri Ivica Daçiç ka bere nje tjetër propozim palës kosovare. Ai tha se Beogradi zyrtar është i gatshëm qe te pranoje qe Kosova te ketë një ulëse ne OKB me kushtin qe Prishtina zyrtare te pranoje ndarjen e Kosovës.
