Peru: Despite Economic Growth, 1 Million Limeños Without Water

While Peru enjoys macroeconomic growth, the benefits largely remain for those on the top of the pyramid. Just in the city of Lima, one of the driest on earth, over one million residents do not have running water, plumbing, or sewage systems. The government says it is investing US$400 million annually to remedy the situation nationwide, but at that rate it will take 50 years to do so. Rael Mora reports from Lima. teleSUR
