Porches is the proliferation of Aaron Maine’s love affair with music. Never quite landing in any particular niche, Maine navigates through genres, learning, obsessing, and absorbing. Today, Maine has released the first song from his anticipated forthcoming album, the first via his new home at Domino. The track, titled “Hour”, features Frankie Cosmos, Maine’s long time musical and life collaborator. Together their voices weave through the layers of synth and keyboards, pulsing at every turn. The song touches on the music Maine is known for, with his previous releases on Exploding In Sound and Terrible Records, but also shows a progression and maturity for an artist who has delivered his strongest work to date.
